Perfect Days to Create...

Hello lovely crafties ...Dawny P here and today I have a card to share which I made using the most fabulous Ula Create....... and here she is.
Not only is she gorgeous,  she is a dream to colour.

I used Copics  here and these are the colours I used -
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R02, R05
Hair - E31, E35, E39, E50
Clothes - BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV01, BV13, C0, C00, C3, C5 RV00, RV85
Grounding - C00, C0, C4
The sentiment is wonderful I think and useful not only for card making, but also if you're a scrapbook-er  or you make albums and memory books as well.

The papers are from the Perfect Days 6x6 paper pack.
What I think is great about this pack is their versatility.

There are papers in there that are so pretty but there are also papers which would work really well for a male card.
I made the rolled rose out of a scrap of paper that was left over, but before I rolled it, I backed it with some 240gsm card. Then when I rolled it up, it sort of went crinkly and I really liked the effect it gave.

On the right hand side of the card, there appears to be a long strip of flowery paper.
The card base is 7x7" but the paper pad is 6x6 so I just cut out 2 squares and stuck them at either end. The sentiment covers the gaps!!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you like the card.

Far, Far Away...

Good Morning Crafty Friends!
Debbie  here today to share my latest card using one of the new release Digi Winnie's. Ive used Faraway Winnie. I know I said in my last post about being a stamping girl ...BUT ....I just couldn't wait for her to become available as a stamp. She's just gorgeous.
Do you struggle with Digi's?
I do, because I use watercolour paper and it is too thick to go through my printer, but below is a little step by step on how I master it.   I hope it helps you too :D

Once you have downloaded your image to your laptop/ipad etc, open up in the program you use.
I have a MacBook so I use 'Pages' to do this. Resize to the size you are happy with and click on print. This then should bring up the printing box and show you the size it will be printed onto the A4 paper. My printer is a HP Officejet Pro 6830. Also outlined in pink is the Opacity. If like me you don't like your images to be jet black, you can alter the percentage to a greyer shade.
Once you are happy with the settings click print on normal A4 paper. It may take a few attempts until you are happy with the size and depth of the image.

I then cut out a piece of my Water Colour paper and tape over the pre-printed image.
For colouring I use Bockingford Hotpressed extra smooth.
Once taped over the image, put back into the printer tray and click print. NOTE..Remember to put in correct way so the image prints in the exact same spot as the previous and onto the Water Colour Paper.
Yes! Voila.... This is how it should look and you are all ready to paint :D
and so it begins.
I colour with Distress Inks and occasionally Distress Pens...

Papers used are Beau Paperie Belle. Flowers I handmade and dies are from my stash.

Thankyou for stopping by and I hope Ive helped you attempt a Digi image
Hugs

Hello Friend...

Hello! This is Corry and I'm excited to share a new project with you today...

I have used the Spring Song collection which was released in March and this large A5 sized stamp ser called Hello Friend is one of my current favourites....

For my card I have glued pieces of music paper to the card and used Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Wilted Violet inks for the background....
I sprayed the Damask stencil with water and placed it on the card.  After removing the stencil, let the card dry.
Then I splashed white paint on the card.
I stamped the flower on another piece of paper, colored it and cut it out. I then glued it in position on the card.
Finally I added some accents and added the text.

The product that I have used is
stamp: Hello Friend
stencil: damask-delights

Have a lovely day ..xxx  Corry

Little Friends...

Hi everyone, this is Monique!

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the lovely Winnie Heavenly stamp - "New Arrival".
This stamp was actually a Christmas release from 2018 but it also works perfectly for a Spring/Easter theme all year round I think!  I love to color with Distress Re-inkers and Distress Markers.
I always use a lot of flowers and ribbons. My cards always have a lot of layers, I think it adds lots of interest and I love spending the time picking out all my embellishments and matching accessories.
Have a lovely day!
Hugs, Monique xxx

Unicorn Magic Card

Hello everyone! This is Debbie and today I'm sharing this delicious Ula Unicorn stamp with you.

I'm not a digital person at all and prefer to use stamps in my crafting because I use Distress Inks to colour my work...I just can't seem to get the printing of a download right onto my paper, it's a good job we all like different things!  So when I spied that this lovely image was available as a Clear Stamp I had to snap her up fast.  You can get this great stamp from all great Polkadoodles stockists....
For my card I used Ula Be A Unicorn Digi coloured with Distress Re-Inkers....
The Papers are from the Bella Fleur paper pad.
I made the flowers with Foamarian and painted with Alchemy paints to give a more shimmering effect....
I hope you like it! All the Polkadoodles products used can be found in your local craft store stockists or online. Hugs, Debbie x

Twit-Twooo card with an old but beautiful favourite...

Hi everyone! It's Plony here.
I'm sharing a lovely project with you using an image from the Twiggy and Toots collection.

I have transformed a small wooden pallet into a sweet little wall decoration. I will show you where I started and what it became in the end....
This was the finished state of the wooden pallet....
...And this is how it started.....a pallet and gesso....
My image.......Hats of Twiggy coloured with copic markers.
Paper.....Helga Hippo Paper........Die.....Elegant Nest
I matched the items with some matching items from my stash and you can see for yourself that my wooden pallet became a sweet piece of home-decoration.
In addition to the image download on it's own this beautiful image is part of a much larger collection and this great kit is available as a printable download kit HERE, or as a CDrom version HERE.

Have a lovely day.....xxx Plony

Colouring Ula - Be Yourself

Hello crafty friends!
The card I'm sharing today was made using Ula Be Yourself.
I coloured her with Copics using these colours -
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R02, R05
Hair - E31, E35, E39, E50
Clothes - C00, C0, C4, C7,  R59, RV0000, RV00, RV10, RV85
Grounding - C00, C0, C4

The sentiment is included in the set - it's perfect.

I doodled a border and cut it  out  to frame the image.
I also gave her wings a little bit of fairy dust.

The beautiful papers are Belle Papillon and I just matted them onto a bit of grey card. I didn't use much paper here - you don't have to when they're as pretty as these are.

Thank you for stopping by and hugs to all xx  Dawny P
