Join us on Hochanda!

Hi everyone!
Anjie here with a make for you today.

This is a really quick and simple card, but very effective because of the size of the sentiment.

I used a gorgeous stamp set from the Spring Song Collection.

To make this I stamped the larger butterfly randomly on a piece of water colour card. I did a loose watercolour of them using my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints.

Beary Nice

Hello All!  Ruth here!!

I have a work colleague who will be going on maternity leave soon but before she does, we are holding a baby shower for her!
I've never been to one so don't quite know what to expect but didn't want to arrive empty handed so I have made her a little gift box which holds some treats for her!

I've made the box and added a gift tag cut using the Posydoodles Basics Tags - I've also cut the two other smaller tags too from the same set.

Make your heart Sing

Hi there this is Corry with a new project.

I decided to use the fabulous Belle Papillon stamps to make a card.

For the background I've used distress inks and sprinkled the background with water...

Using my fingers I then spread some gesso on the card and let it dry.

I added Distress Ink, added water and let it flow to make a great grungey background effect.

I then made a smaller card with Distress Ink again, a text stamp, and after that a thin layer of gesso....

I hand sewed the little card on design paper and glued a few pieces of cardboard underneath.

I added more gesso then I glued it onto on the card.
I stamped some butterflies and colored them and attached.

The products that I used are:

Have a lovely dayxxx Corry

Hi everyone, it's Nikky here and I just wanted to share this video with you for a new product we have just launched.

So many of you tell us that you don't feel confident with colouring and that's why you love to buy our precoloured digi stamps - trust me, you're not alone!
So I decided to bring you more products that cater for you if you have this issue and these are the first of this type of pack - I just love these and I hope you do too....

I think they're truly adorable and I sized them so they fit perfectly on those small cards too (I think in the UK we are trending back towards the A6 and smaller card sizes now).

I love how you can just put a backing paper on the card, trim or cut the topper add a sentiment and you don't need anything else - amazing for batch cardmaking and with our Angel Policy you can sell these at Craft Fairs so long as you ADD value by hand, ie you have to embellish/stamp/change the toppers in some way.

I think these will be big sellers at any craft event!

Hugs, Nikky x

Ahoy there!

Hey everyone, it's Monique here today!

Today I've created a bauble with the lovely Mermaid stamp from Polkadoodles called

The stamp is colored with Distress Re-inkers en Distress Markers.

This is the back of my work.
I've used a lovely sentiment from the lovely Mermaid collection.
The shells are a combination from stamps I've colored and real shells

This is the top I've created for this bauble. Again there are several shells colored by me and some dies from my stash.

On this picture you can see them as a combination.
To finish the bauble I've used some Stickles, fur, ribbon and pearls.

After I put the bauble together I've used a MDF holder.
Again I have used some fur to complete it.

Make your Heart Sing...

Hi it's Anjie here sharing a make with you.

I have used the Heart Sing stamp set to make this. And I am also showing you an idea on how to hide a mistake.

I stamped the beautiful flower image randomly over a 14cm square piece of card, leaving a space in the centre for the sentiment. I then coloured the flowers with Copic Markers. I wanted the flowers to pop more from the page so I outline them with a blue marker to add a bit of shadow. Well as you can see I dropped a pen and ruined the card front. Or did I?
I was quite pleased with the colouring on the flowers and really didn't want to bin it so I stamped a couple more flowers onto some more card and coloured them in. I then fussy cut one out and placed it over where I had made a blob. I turned the card base over and marked on the back on the flower where to trim to match the card.
I then put the extra flower on 3D foam to add further interest.
And then so it looked like I had meant to do that all along I coloured and fussy cut another flower and mounted onto 3D foam and place over the flower at the top left, offsetting the bottom one.
I then mounted the card base onto some black card and then onto a 15cm square card.

We're back!

Vintage style...

Hi everyone, this is Plony with a little vintage inspiration...

I love...and I mean LOVE vintage styled creations.
I had this idea in my head to make a tag in vintage style.  This is what I made.....

I started with cutting a tag......and a second one out of designpapier ....Butterfly Daisy paperpad....

I used 1 of my stencils from my stash to add some modelling paste......

I wanted to color my image in a kind of sepia look.....using the following copic colors
E : 53,51,50,37,35,33,31,30
YR 27,24,20

The stamp I used is called I brought the cake and it's a Winnie grey rubber stamp.
I used a part of the beautiful Polkadoodles die called Elegant Nest to add my colored image to the tag.

To finish my vintage tag I added lace, flowers and pearls...a bronze butterfly, a little piece of cheesecloth and 1 of the sentiments from the fantastic bundle....sentimentals. That's a 6x6 paperpack with perfect sentiments for every occasion.

This was it for today...I hope you liked my post and my little "tutorial".
Have a lovely day.

Hi everyone! This is Corry with some daily inspiration.

First I put a piece of masking tape in the middle of the card.

Then I stamped the flowers on the both sides.

After that I colored the flowers with ziggs.

And I colored some space with zig Clean Color markers and added ink between the flowers.
Than I removed the masking tape.

And finally stamped and colored the word SMILE, using the Alphabet stamp set...

Every wish...

Hi there this is Terry with a project with the fabulous Polkadoodles Clearstamp sets.

I worked on the background of my Art Journal with Acrylic Inks, I used a roller for the background to distribute the colors more on the paper. After I dried the paints I stamped some flowers from the Clearstamp set "Every Wish In the World". They are really fabulous because you can build the flowers up any way you want.
I layered the stamps to build up my "bouquet"
And than I stamped a flower at the bottom of my art journal, just as if it had fallen of.
I wanted to build up my Art Journal Page and played with the Regal Peacock Clear Stamp Set...
All over the page I stamped these lovely clearstamps. And than I wanted to add some color to the Flowers. This time I decided to color with Brush Pens and I colored in lots of layers to give the flowers some dept. I did the same with the other stamps. Added some tiny flowers to them and colored them too......
Last but not least I played with the white Graphite Markers and colored around the flowers, tiny flowers and all the stamps in the background. And placed a sentiment.

The Polkadoodles Clearstamp sets that I have worked with are:

You can click on the name of the stampset and the linky will take you to the store where you can purchase YOURS.

Mixing it Up...

Hello crafty friends - Dawny P here.
I'm sharing a card today which I made using a few Polkadoodles lovelies and I've mixed and matched a couple of stamp sets.
This is the card and the main image is Winne - Sweeetest Thing. I've deviated from my usual blondie hair for this one!!

I coloured Winnie with Copics and these are the colours I used -

Skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R00, R05
Hair - E07, E19, E50, E59, E97, E99
Clothes - YG0000, YG00, YG01, YG03, YG95, YG97
Grounding - W00, W1, W3, W5

The frame was made using 2 Posydoodles Rectangle dies and then I stamped over it with a stamp from the Textures Galore set (it beats hand doodling the frame I can promise you!!)

The sentiments are from the Daisy Friends stamp set and I just added a bit of Copics colour to them.
These pretty papers are from Bright and Beautiful and I've put the sizes I used on the pic.
The striped paper is straight out of the pad ie 6" square.
I love that these are not glued together :)

The butterfly is also from Daisy Friends.

Lots of dimension ....and a bit of gingham ribbon as well!!
Here's a list of the products I've used -.
Winnie Sweetest Thing (available from stockists)

Have a great day and happy crafting xx

Hi Everyone - Its Debbie today to share a Birthday Card I made for my daughter.

I think the Ruby's are perfect for young women and teenagers, so I used Ruby Celebrations stamp.
I coloured her with Distress Inks.
The Ruby's are particularly long stamps and its sometimes difficult to find a die long enough to cut them out, but the Pierced Ovals Easel die set work perfectly with them.
The balloon on this stamp makes it even larger and here's a little tip on how to make it work.

Draw around like so in the picture around the top of Ruby and either side of the balloon and carefully cut along the line. For the die to fit in at the back of the balloon cut little further down than the line.

Align the die on the pre cut area but make sure it is at the back of the balloon and cut out the image
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Big Hugs, Debbie xx
