How to make an edible Halloween Trick or Treat Shaker card ...

Hi everyone, it's Lou again and todays Halloween project is a shaker card with a difference as it has an edible treat within the shaker blister.

You can see how I made my card by checking out this video...

EDIBLE SHAKER CARD
I do love a shaker card from the noise they can make to the endless possibilities of shape and design. I thought it would be fun to be able to send a Halloween card and enclose a treat within it.

I've used a blister to hold my M&Ms within, but you could also use a plastic bag, sticking this to the back of the aperture. To ensure that my M&Ms didn't escape and also so that you could get in to them, I have added a layer of tin foil to the back. I suppose if you were being a wee bit mean, you could make it harder to get to the chocolates, changing the card from a treat to a trick ...!

All the monsters are from the Freaky Monsters clear stamp set which is part of the Little Monsters Collection. I have coloured the images with alcohol markers, cutting them out, then adding to my card front.

The sentiment is from the "Hey Pumpkin" stamp set.

SNEAK PEEK
I'm still in Halloween mode as there are endless ways to use these fabulous Polkadoodles stamps & papers, so here's a little taster of my next project ...

What's your all time favourite Halloween sentiment? I don't know many Halloween songs other than the good old favourite "Monster Mash", I'd love any recommendations to add to my Halloween play list.

See you soon with another Halloween project but until then, Happy Polkadoodles Crafting,
