Video Tutorial - Honey Rose Transitional Layering stamps

Hello Polkadoodles fans! This is Lou Sims here again, I've had a busy week of projects and blogging!
Thank you so much everyone for tuning in to my very first Facebook Live broadcast. Have to admit I was a wee bit on the nervous side, so apologies if I ignored you during the live event. The Facebook Live featured the beautiful Honey Rose Transitional Layering Stamps. This photo polymer clear stamp set is part of the All About the Girls Collection.

During the live, I created a single layer card using the Honey Rose Transitional Layering Stamps but one of my goals was to show/share with everyone, how it easy it is to create a card that has the appearance of lots of layers but actually was only one!

Repeat stamping technique using Reach for the Skies clear stamps

Hello! This is Lou, back again with another project for you today...
Sometimes we forget the wonderful smaller stamps & how they can grab the same "limelight" as the larger images. The card I am sharing today has been created using two of the smaller stamps from "Reach for the Sky" clear stamp set from Polkadoodles.

Polkadoodles Bright & Breezy Collection
Reach for the sky, Forest Floor & Perfectly poised are part of the Bright & Breezy collection. You can each stamp set individually, choosing the one that "sings" to you creatively the most. See below for more details or if you can't wait, check out the collection HERE.

Video Tutorial Using distress inks with Spring Rose Transitions layering stamps

 Hi! This is Lou here....
The inspiration for this project was to try and create a layered/dimensional card but keep it one layer.

After recently sending a few cards in the post, the difference between flat, mildly thick, slightly thicker & thick is HUGE in costs. Slightly off topic ... do need to get me one of those slot guides. Would definitely help when I grab the 3D foam pads or gels!

When creating my card design, I took all the above in to consideration & knew that the Spring Rose transitional layering clear stamp set would be the way forward.

I have used distress inks to create a vintage, faded background with the stamps....

Matching card, tag + envelope using NEW Mother's Sentiments clear stamps

Following a demo I did on Hochanda recently, show casing the Mother's Sentiment clear stamps from Polkadoodles, I have used the same idea(ish) to share how to make quick, one layered card, tag & matching envelope. I really did also try & create a design that could be batch made if you are a crafter who sells their cards.

What is slightly strange about my projects is that I would have appeared to have embraced the white space! There is also made a step by step video, showing how each were made - see below.

Using stencils for a watery scene...

Happy Tuesday, I hope you are having a great week! Are you crafting today?

As Mother's day is approaching here in the U.K., I thought Winnie 'Just for You' would be an excellent image to use.
