Tutorial with Video - How to use SVG print and cut files on a cute penguin card project...

Welcome back!!  Eulanda here today and I'm going to share a quick video tutorial on how to print and cut digi images and SVG files from the Polkadoodles store.

For this quick and easy card I've used images and cutting files from the big Waddy and Wanda Penguin bundle.  The pre-coloured digi's are so handy for when you're in a pinch and need something in a hurry or you can make it fancier by printing off the images and colouring them yourself.

I printed off 2 sets of images.  The first one, I die cut using a circle die and the 2nd set I cut with my Silhouette and popped up with some foam dots for some dimension.

I've used Polkadoodles Merry Christmas die and then adhered some black glitter to the sentiment using glue from a stick pen to make it easier.  It was still a bit difficult I won't kid you.  Hindsight next time I would use black glitter paper.  🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂😂

Here is my video to print and cut.  I hope it's something you find useful.  😀

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Fab tutorial, you make it look so easy and have inspired me to give it another try.
Also love the circle cut with the lacey border. Is that a Silhouette file?

    1. Hi Jane!! Awww I'm so thankful for your comment!! After a few tries it really is quite easy and you may find some of your own shortcuts as well. Unfortunately the die cut isn't a Silhouette file and is actually a die from another company. I don't really like that route as they are quite expensive but I couldn't help myself. LOL!! However, you just gave me an idea on a slimline cutting file so stay tuned for another tutorial 😉 or you can follow my YouTube page. 😃. Thanks for your comment!! 🥰
